A second Tiny House Container will be added for the 2024 summer season.
Overview
Location
Colonial Beach, Virginia is located 90 minutes south of Washington D.C. on the banks of the Potomac River. It is primarily a summer destination, but its proximity to Washington D.C. and a new four-lane bridge across the Potomac River are expected to lead to increased fall tourism in the future. The town hosts several events during the summer and fall seasons. Monroe Bay Winery is open from April 1st to December 31st. Bookings for the first Tiny House Container typically begin in early May and continue through mid-October.
Setup
The second Tiny House Container Airbnb will be setup facing a large field with a tree line in the back. The Tiny House Container will have a porch on the French Door side and a porch at the Barn Door (container doors) end.
Occupancy
Excepted occupancy 90 days.
Conclusion
During the first season, we anticipate below average occupancy and a lower nightly rate as we continue to improve the setup. However, for the second season, we expect to reach our goal.
